Over the past few years, there have been at least three website design and production formats that have major impacts on business and personal website creation:
Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress.
Each of these formats has its strengths and weakness. They all promote how easy they are for the average person to use and revise. In fact, they can be very easy to use, but you do have to have some basic knowledge to make changes with images and copy.
You can take courses to clear up questions and problems, but most people just want it up and working while they go about their business of creating content in the way of products to sell or information to broadcast.
As a web and graphic designer, I have seen many posts asking for help from someone knowledgeable in these three web formats over the past year. It’s usually asking for simple solutions they need like;
1. Incorporate eCommerce into their site
2. Revising or changing (look) of the existing Theme to making it more modern or just change the color scheme
3. Changing their logo
4. Adding SEO so they can be found
5. Make their site load faster
6. How to create a PPC campaign to drive leads to them
7. Create new images for the site
There are more, but you get the idea.
If you need any of these things done, and your original web designer is no longer to be found, I can help you and estimate a fair fee.
Let me know what you need and I’m sure I can help you.
