These are major problems existing right now across the world. As a marketing executive, I’ve taken a long hard look at these problems we’re all facing and am offering some advice as I see it that may help to reverse the trend so many of us currently find ourselves.

I’m sure you have seen and heard about the online surge of products and services being sold online and most likely have purchased items online from places like Amazon, Shopify, Etsy or any of the many eCommerce stores available to you.

The good news is that you can also sell your own products and services on these sites and start making income without leaving your home. If you have a computer and wifi you’re practically in business.

Yes, there’s Amazon, Etsy and Shopify, but there are many other outlets such as:
Oberlo
Bonanza
eBay
rubylane
chairish
facebook marketplace
craigslist
nextdoor
and there are many more.

The point here is with a little research you can find just the right store to sell your items on and start making money again.

howYour first item on your list of things to do is to have a product that you can sell.
You can research on many of the sites I’ve listed and see which type of products are in demand and either come up with one that fits in that category or create something you really like and feel you can sell.

You can either manufacture your own product or have one made and put your own logo on it. We call that private labeling.

There are quite a few steps here to take in order to be successful selling online, but continuing on no matter what gets in your way will eventually pay off. And can pay off big!

There’s a lot more than having a product and selling online. Marketing is sometimes a bigger step than the actual selling. After all, you’ve got to get your product in front of a lot of eyeballs. Your product should be of value to your customer and fulfills a solution to a problem they may have as well.

Marketing can and should encompass using social media, direct marketing with emails, various promotions, etc.
