Some promising news here regarding a gallery that is interested in my work. Townley Gallery. They seem to have the marketing of emerging artists down to somewhat of a science. The owner, Shane Townley and main artist hails from back east as I do and we instantly became friends trading anecdotes about New york City and how much fun that town has going for it. He told me about an app he’s developed that enables you to instantly check out where art shows are happening, art studios and where you can fine the artists themselves. So far he’s got it in three towns; Newyorkart.com, Beverlyhillsart.com and Lagunaart.com.

I was speaking with them about showing some of my new skin series at one of the “art Walk” events they have in Laguna Beach the first Thursday of every month. I’ll be sending an alert out when that happens. Meanwhile, I’m still looking for a venue closer to home (Studio City area) for an art show so if anyone out there knows of a gallery or large space that can be used for a show please contact me.
